where do i find the scales needed for wyvern armor other then from the material trader?

they salvage from skale fins in presear askalon and various other things in post sear.

i grab a bunch of skale fins in pre sear and send the character to post and toss them into the vault for future need

I find a lot at the ice imps outside the ice caves of moladune or whatever it's called when I farm.

Look here it will tell you what mobs drop them and what things salvage into them.
